Pre Wedding Shoot - Using Props
Pre wedding photography will be one of the first things on your to-do list when planning your wedding. It’s about capturing and showing who you are as a couple, where you love to go, and what you love to do. Adding props into you pre wedding photos can be a fun way to provide some personal insight into a relationship.
Props aren’t necessary, but using a prop here and there adds a pop of shape, color, texture and also helps bring out your personality as a couple. When used simply, and in moderation, props can add an engaging element to your shoot and enable capturing your personalities as a couple in a storytelling manner. Think of what makes you unique as a couple. Do you like to play guitar? Do you love to read? Do you like to ride a bike or you play basketball? Using props like guitar, books, bike or basketball in this case would be a great idea. You should also consider the theme and vibe of your pre wedding shoot. If you location has vintage feel you might want to use an old suitcase, chair, LPs etc. Bringing your dog or cat can make some really adorable pictures.
However, the most important thing to remember is try not to go overboard and keep it simple. So, let’s get creative!
