Perfect location for Pre Wedding Photography in Delhi
A key element to a great pre wedding shoot aside from a loving couple and a great photographer, is a setting that makes you feel comfortable, reflects your personality and is good for the camera. The historical monuments like Lodhi Gardens, Humayun Tomb and Hauz Khas Village are the most popular locations for the pre wedding shoot because people are looking for a destination wedding feel within the city. Personally, I love to shoot at Hauz Khas Village because it offers a variety of landscapes and backdrops.
You can't go wrong with Hauz Khas monuments' architecture. Those tombs, stairs, pillars and windows make it a perfect spot for making great pictures when the couple is dressed in ethnic outfits such as shervani, lehenga etc.
For more urban or casual-themed shoots, there are some really interesting streets, alleys, buildings, graffiti walls, restaurants with lots of colours and textures which are amazing backdrops for the pictures. In addition to to this there is a like, bridge and deer park with lots of greenery and foliage. So Hauz Khas Village has to be the winner for me!
Adding props into your photos can be a fun way to provide some personal insight into a relationship. We use props moderately to add an engaging element of storytelling and thematic cohesion. We use props like frames, musical instruments, flowers, chalk boards with "save the date" or custom messages.
We also give some pointers on outfits, accessories etc. and our makeup artist works on the location for the look based on the theme. For example, if a couple is looking for a more formal and classy portfolio, we suggest wearing shervanis for the groom-to-be and a lehenga for the bride-to-be. Whereas if a couple looking for more casual and fun shots in front of graffiti wall we would suggest denim with same colored tops for some uniformity.
